September Mission Report

Last month your Air Ambulance Charity responded to 192 emergency call-outs across the region.

We were called out to:
  • 56 cardiac arrests
  • 44 medical emergencies, such as seizures
  • 35 road traffic incidents
  • 17 falls from height.

91 of our missions we attended were in our aircraft and 101 in our emergency response vehicles. The rise in car missions is a result of our new Critical Care Paramedic Car, which came into service on the 1st September. Read more about it here.

We have now responded to a total of 1,287 emergency call-outs so far this year – an average of four missions per day.

Each mission we attend costs on average £3,320. And we need to raise £15,000 every day to ensure we can there for you.

We are only able to be there for those in need thanks to your generous donations. Your support allows us to give our patients the best chance of survival and recovery when the worst happens.
