Miles for Missions Prize Draw Terms and Conditions:
1. The Promoter
The promoter is: Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance (HIOWAA) (charity number 1106234 and company number: 5244460) of F4 Adanac Park, Adanac Drive, Nursling, Southampton, Hampshire, SO16 0BT.
2. The competition
2.1 The Miles for Missions: 100 Miles in May Prize Draw is for an Apple Sport 7 Watch.
2.2 Every participant who has raised £100 or more during the 100 Miles in May challenge is eligible to win the prize. The prize is an Apple Sport 7 Watch and has been kindly donated to Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance from Asendia.
3. How to enter
3.1 The competition will run from 7am on 1 May 2024 to 23:59 on 31 May 2024 (Closing Date) inclusive.
3.2 All participants donations to fundraising pages must be received by Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance no later than 31 May 2024. Donations to the fundraising pages after this date will not count in this prize draw.
3.3 Donations via online platforms such as Facebook fundraising pages and JustGiving will automatically send to Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance.
3.4 Cash and cheque donations will count once they have been received by the charity and before the closing date.
3.5 Cheques can be posted to Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance, F4 Adanac Park, Adanac Drive, Nursling, Southampton, SO16 0BT.
3.6 The competition is free to enter and exclusive to those participating in the Miles for Missions: 100 Miles in May challenge.
3.7 The winner of the prize will be chosen by an online random winning generator. All names will be entered into https://wheelofnames.com/
3.8 The winner will be announced on the 100 Miles in May Facebook Group on 3 June 2024 and contacted by phone to arrange collection.
4. Eligibility
4.1 The competition is only open to all participants registered for the Miles for Missions: 100 Miles in May challenge, who have raised £100 or more.
4.2 In entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize you may win. Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the competition.
4.3 If a group fundraising page is selected as the winner, the primary organiser of the fundraising page will be contacted, and it will be their decision how to split the prize.
4.4 Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the prize competition.
5. The prize
5.1 There is one prize to be won and there will be only one winner. The winner will receive the following: One Apple Sport 7 Watch, Starlight Aluminium Case with a Starlight Sport Band.
5.2 There is no cash alternative for the prize. The prize is not negotiable or transferable.
5.3 The prize has been donated to Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance by Asendia and no longer comes with an Apple guarantee.
6. Winner
6.1 The decision of the Promoter is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
6.2 The Promoter will contact the winner personally as soon as practicable after the winner has been selected by the random winner generator, using the telephone number or email address provided with the registration entry.
6.3 The Promoter will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winner. If the winner cannot be contacted, or is not available, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to the next eligible entrant selected from the correct entries that were received before the Closing Date.
6.4 Details of the winner can be obtained by writing to Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance, F4 Adanac Park, Adanac Drive, Nursling, Southampton, SO16 0BT (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within one month after the Closing Date of the competition.
6.5 If you object to any or all of your surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact the Promoter. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
6.6 The Promoter does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the prize.
7. Limitation of liability
Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
8. Ownership of competition entries and intellectual property rights
8.1 All prize draw entries and any accompanying material submitted to the Promoter will become the property of the Promoter on receipt and will not be returned.
9. Data protection and publicity
The Promoter will only process your personal information as set out in the Privacy Policy – https://www.hiowaa.org/cookie-policy/. See also condition [6.4] and condition [6.5], with regard to the announcement of winners.
10. General
10.1 If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the prize draw.
10.2 The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize competition where it becomes necessary to do so.
10.3 The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the terms of this draw without notice at any stage.
10.4 These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
