Twenty-foreeeee-hour golf club challenge

Four members of South Winchester Golf Club, Marc Patch, Paul Kille, Paul Neilson, and Mark Neilson took part in a 24-hour golf challenge, starting at 6pm on Friday June 16 and finishing on at the same time on Saturday June 17.

The club captains nominated us as their charity of the year and have been raising vital funds for us throughout that time.

The group were supported throughout their challenge by fellow members who drove their clubs and supplies around on buggies.

The fourball completed six rounds of golf, covering an incredible 36 miles, and have so far raised a staggering £8,000 thanks to the generosity of members and friends.

Our Supporter Engagement Officer, Judith Stephens, said:

“We are so thankful to everyone at South Winchester Golf Club who has supported us so fervently throughout the partnership. This challenge shows the lengths our supporters will go through to support our cause. Their efforts will help us respond to people in our region who need our help.”
