Hampshire-based hovercraft specialists Griffon Hoverwork announces partnership with our life-saving service.
The announcement was made during a festive Christmas staff event held at Griffon’s Portchester facility, bringing together employees, guests and members of our charity team to celebrate the season alongside the spirit of giving and community support.
The event encouraged attendees to embrace the holiday season by donning their best Christmas jumpers and making donations – raising £524 for our life-saving service. Griffon Hoverwork also pledged to match all contributions made during the event, doubling the impact of the generosity shown by staff and guests alike.
Mark Downer, Managing Director at Griffon Hoverwork, said:
“Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance is a charity whose work resonates deeply with all of us at Griffon.
“The life-saving services they provide are truly inspiring, and we’re thrilled to support such a worthwhile cause. This partnership reflects our commitment to giving back to the community and making a meaningful difference.”
Natalie Russell, Supporter Engagement Officer at Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance, said:
“We’re excited to join forces with Griffon Hoverwork for a life-saving partnership. Plans are already underway for 2025, where the team will take on workplace activities and adrenaline-fuelled challenges. The team’s passion for making a difference will help us save lives across our region.”
