Patients to benefit from Stewart Signs partnership

The UK’s experts in signs and graphics have thrown their support behind the life-saving charity by wrapping one of its emergency response vehicles in unmissable reflective livery and have pledged to do the same for future vehicles.

The charity says this act of generosity will mean a substantial amount in savings, meaning those funds can be put directly towards saving more lives in the region.

The team at the Chandlers Ford firm have also committed to undertake a number of fundraising initiatives to celebrate the partnership.

The charity’s cars are used to bring the hospital to the patient at times when the helicopter is offline due to poor weather, or act as an additional resource to the helicopter team on mass-casualty incidents. The vehicles carry the same equipment as the air ambulance, such as blood products, defibrillators, monitors that can record ECG’s, blood pressure, oxygen saturation and carbon dioxide levels.

The custom design wrap is essential in ensuring the crew and their equipment can get to the patient’s side as quickly and safely as possible.

Keith Wilson, Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance Director of Income and Engagement, said:

“A huge thank you to everyone at Stewart Signs for their dedication to our cause. We rely entirely on the generosity and kindness of individuals and organisations in our region to help us save lives; day and night, 365 days a year. Working in collaboration with organisations who utilise their existing skills to help us deliver advanced critical care is a cost-effective and meaningful way to make a direct impact on the community.”

Gareth Livingstone, Managing Director, Stewart Signs Ltd. said:

“We’re really passionate about supporting this great cause, which saves lives across our region. Using our specialist skills and products to create these custom wraps for HIOWAA, we felt it was our duty to help where we can. We will continue to work with this absolutely fabulous charity and do whatever we can to keeping them attending accidents and incidents locally.”
