Just 10 months since the launch of our Operation Airbase appeal, you have helped raise a remarkable £1.8 million.
Halfway there
As we cross the halfway mark to our £3.6 million total, we want to say a huge thank you.
This milestone has only been made possible thanks to the 7,591 individual donors who have contributed to this total.
Whether you’re part of a community group, a local business or a regular monthly donor, your support has made a real difference to us and our patients. But we can’t stop now.

Operation Airbase is the biggest fundraising appeal in our 18-year history.
The move from our current base in Thruxton, Andover, to our new home near Southampton Airport will improve response rates to most of our patients – ensuring they receive emergency critical care as quickly as possible.
From our new home, our highly experienced doctors, pilots and paramedics will be able to reach almost every patient in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight within 10 minutes of take-off – in contrast to the current time of 20 minutes or more for some.
Dr Simon Hughes, Clinical Lead, said:
“We are here for you and the ones you love, in that moment of greatest need. We want to be able to reach you even quicker – because when we save time we save lives.”
