The Garmin New Forest Marathon is back for 2024!

Support your Air Ambulance and sign up today for ‘the most stunning running event in the UK’. All routes will start and finish at the New Park Showground and will take you through the heart of the New Forest National Park for one of the most scenic running experiences in the country.

With opportunities to sign up for various routes, including the Full Marathon, Half Marathon, 10k and Woodland Walk, this event is perfect for those of all abilities and ages. Everyone who crosses the finish line will receive a Garmin New Forest Marathon medal for their distance and a finisher’s T-shirt.

By joining our team for, you will be helping to raise vital funds to keep us flying and saving lives. We attend the most critically ill and injured people in our region, and we rely solely on the generous donations from our community to continue our lifesaving service. Without the support of the community, we simply wouldn’t exist.


  • Full Marathon: £65 – Minimum sponsorship £200
  • Half Marathon: £50 – Minimum sponsorship £150
  • 10k: £40 – Minimum sponsorship £100


  • 5k (17+ years old) : £25 – Minimum sponsorship (for each 5k) £100
  • 5k (11-16 years old) : £18
  • 5k (8-10 years old with accompanying adult) : £38


  • Junior 200m (0-5 years old) : £5 – Minimum sponsorship £50
  • Junior 1 mile (6-12 years old) : £5 – Minimum sponsorship £50
  • Woodland Walk: £18 – Minimum sponsorship £100
