Volunteers at the 2018 Victorious Festival!

28 August, 2018

Tuesday 28th August 2018

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance volunteers got to experience Victorious Festival over the Bank Holiday Weekend. (24th – 26th August).

Despite the soggy weather, thousands turned out to see The Libertines, Kaiser Chiefs, Paloma Faith, Paul Wellar, Example, Year & Years and many more perform in Portsmouth.

Seven volunteers gave up their time across the weekend to represent our Charity. Armed with fundraising games, photo boards and merchandise, they raised a fantastic £349.89.

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance Volunteering Team Leader, Kirsty Davies, said:

“Our volunteers did a fabulous job at Victorious Festival! We’ve had a Charity stand at the event for the last few years and it’s always a popular event to volunteer at. It’s just one of many events that you can help raise vital funds to keep the Air Ambulance flying, whilst having huge amounts of fun! Sarah, Mick, Peter, Jim, Angie, Mary and Louise all had a great time and the awareness they create for our Charity is just as valuable as the money they help to raise. The bonus of volunteering at Victorious of course, is that fantastic live music and great atmosphere!”
