There for you. One of our mottos was flipped this weekend, as you, a lot of you, were there for us.
In reply to a post across our social media platforms, you came out in your thousands to spread positivity and kindness. And for that, we want to thank you.
In just 48 hours, you have gifted our charity with over £5,000. You have ignited and reaffirmed the reason we do this. And we couldn’t be prouder to see how much love the community has for our cause.
But, you have also done so much more than that. You have allowed us to continue being there for the most critically ill and seriously injured people in our region; to give our patients a second chance at life; to allow families enough time to say goodbye to their loved ones.
I got ten more years with my dad because of the efforts of an air ambulance crew. You could fly THROUGH my house at 4am and you’d get a cheery wave and an offer of a brew.
I have no words to convey my respect and gratitude to everyone involved with air ambulance services.
