Table for crew

Between the rush of the radio sounding and getting airborne in four minutes, the crew, like anyone, enjoy a well-earned cuppa.

Last week, our friends at Forces Re-Engineered delivered a unique coffee table crafted from a decommissioned Lynx helicopter engine.

Forces Re-Engineered is a non-profit company helping veterans to retrain and become fully qualified vehicle technicians, whilst receiving help with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

Forces Re-Engineers Founder, Stephen West, said:

“PTSD, once diagnosed, appears like a large mountain to the sufferer. The tables are there to aid, from having an idea, dealing with one problem at a time to end up with a complete and functioning table; showing that even the largest problem can be overcome by dealing with one part of it at a time, hence the nickname ‘resolution tables.'”

Thank you to everyone at Forces Re-Engineered for their kindness and generosity. The kettle is always on!
