Meet Lucy and Alice, two of our newest recruits to join Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance’s charity team.
“I’m Lucy, and I help with the recruiting and supporting of volunteers at Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance. I get to meet lots of amazing people who have different reasons for wanting to support our service. Our volunteers really are a huge part of the team. And their efforts help us in raising the £15,000 a day needed to keep us on the front line, saving lives .”
“My name is Alice, I am new to the charity team but have loved my role so far. I help to coordinate volunteers for events, updating them with all the latest charity news, and assist with general admin work within the charity. Outside of work, I am an avid nature photographer and enthusiastic dog mum.”
Get in touch with Lucy and Alice today, and become a volunteer and help keep Critical Care in the air.
Volunteers can be individuals, groups of friends and colleagues or families who have some time they want to give. Maybe you’re from a company that has days where they let employees support a charity as a group. Volunteering can make a great team building day and increase staff morale.
“I work shifts and so I have spare time during the week and collecting donation pots is ideal for me.” – Helen
