Last month we responded to 158 emergency call-outs across our region: our busiest month of the year so far.
Among the call outs were:
51 cardiac arrests
24 road traffic incidents
24 falls from height
23 medical emergencies, such as strokes
91 of our missions we attended were in our aircraft – our most flights in a single month this year – and 67 in our emergency response vehicles.
Monday was our busiest day of the week, with 29 call-outs from across the region.
Each mission we attend costs on average £3,320.
We have now responded to a total of 640 emergency call-outs so far this year – an average of four missions per day.
We are only able to be there for those in need thanks to your generous donations. Your support allows us to give our patients the best chance of survival when the worst happens.
