Monday 29th April
Four Hampshire and Isle of Wight (HIOWAA) heroes gave up their Sunday to run the London Marathon for our Charity.
They were amongst over 40,000 other runners, all looking to challenge themselves whilst supporting a good cause at the 39th annual event.
Each with their own reasons and motivations to run for HIOWAA, Emma A, Natalie, Johanna and Emma P have collectively raised over £6,000!
Ian Browning, Community Relationships Manager at HIOWAA, commented:
“The London Marathon is a tremendous event and we’re so grateful to everyone who gave up their time, not just on race day, but to the training commitments in the lead up to it as well. We rely entirely on the people in our community to keep us flying and these incredible HIOWAA Heroes have done just that. Thank you.”
