Prudential RideLondon: an annual three-day festival of cycling.
Date: 3rd and 4th August 2019
Distance: 19, 46, 100 miles

Taking a cue from the London Marathon, amateur cyclists also participate in RideLondon– a 100-mile challenge on the same closed roads as the professionals, with the added incentive of raising money for good causes.

Plus, you’ll receive:
- A Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance Cycling top to wear on the day

Would love to take part in this event.
I have been nearly a year off a bike after a dreadful accident at the end of January this year when I shattered many bone in the right hand side of my body.
Two small bleeds on the brain are now healed, the upper right arm is plated and pinned as is the wrist.
Had I broken rather than just fractured my C2 vertebrae I would no longer be alive.
My next and most driving goal is get back on both City and road bikes.
