Southampton Airport leap from the sky!

Friday 14th September

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance supporter, Southampton Airport, took to the skies in a very different way on Saturday (8th).

19 fundraisers faced their fears and skydived 10,000ft to help raise money for our Charity.

Airport staff arrived at the crack of dawn at GoSkydive in Salisbury for their briefing, before getting into their flight suits and taking off!

So far, the team have raised over £10,000 for us.

Corporate Fundraiser for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance, Ray Southam, was there to cheer them on:

“Southampton Airport are an incredible bunch! Their fundraising knows no bounds and we’re incredibly grateful for all their support. The money they have raised so far is enough to fund an entire day of operations, which will make such a difference to our Charity.”

Their fundraising doesn’t stop there. Southampton Airport are running a special offer all throughout National Air Ambulance Week to help raise even more! They’re donating £2.50 from every ticket purchased for the Airport Priority Lounge.
