Nationwide Accident Repair Service raise over £42,000 for UK Air Ambulances.

Nationwide Accident Repair Service are celebrating a year of fundraising for national for Air Ambulance charities.

Throughout the year, they raised a staggering £42,363.15 for Air Ambulance services, with Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance receiving £2,795.48.

The partnership has seen morale flying high throughout the business as the teams took on the challenge of raising as much money as possible to benefit their chosen charity!

Andrew Scriven, Corporate Liaison Officer for the Association of Air Ambulances said:

“On behalf of the air ambulance charities of the UK, we would like to thank everyone at Nationwide Accident Repair Services for their incredible support. The donation received will go directly to impacting the lives of those most significantly unwell. Each day the air ambulances will be involved in approximately 70 missions, saving lives and improving the outcome for patients.”

From exercise classes to cake sales and even a tattoo, the Nationwide Team rallied around this cause without hesitation and fundraised enthusiastically all year round.

Michael Wilmshurst, Nationwide CEO, said:

“It’s hard not to be very proud of a team that works so relentlessly hard and still finds time to think about others and raise money for such a great cause.”

Ray Southam, Corporate Fundraiser at HIOWAA added:

“We’re so impressed with the fundraising efforts of the team at the Nationwide Accident Repair Service. The money they have raised locally and nationally will really help make a difference. Thank you.”
